The idea behind the “Honor the Journey” mantra/design stemmed from similarities between both Bvspeed (Brian) and Doryoku’s (Charlie) approach to cars, business, and life. We put our faith in the process of whatever we do. One methodical step at a time; absorbing any and all information possible. We realize that greatness has no shortcuts and to achieve said greatness, one must respect and honor the Journey that it takes to get there.
Whether it’s the development of a track car, the development as a driver, or the development of a business; we must realize that there is no easy button. Instead of adding more power, more aero, more tire, focus on the journey of becoming a better driver instead! Maximize your potential and go from there. The same can be said for business and anything else in life! Honor the journey that’s ahead of you and navigate it with the utmost respect! Make mistakes and take chances. Fall down and get back up. It’s all part of the process!
All proceeds from this particular shirt will go towards our good friend Elia (aka Xtalgic) in helping out with any production and associated costs of his new YouTube short film series, “Driver X”. We feel that Elia is someone who truly believes in the process and embodies the “Honor the Journey” lifestyle.
